How long does it take to get set up?

We can do this in a matter of hours, but it also depends on what pace you like to go at. When you secure the offer, we can agree to the timing that suits your business.

What do I need to prepare?

As long as your Contacts (in Xero) & Awaiting payments queue (in Xero) are updated with accurate information, then that is all you need to do.

We are pretty Xero savvy, can we go straight to on-boarding with Parakeet?

Yes.

How long does it take for funds to reach my vendors or BPAY billers?

If it is paid via bank accounts, allow for 3 business days for clearing by the banks. If it is paid via the card network, then allow for 1 business day.

Can you use any bank accounts or cards to pay my bills?

Yes, as long as your bank account or card is held / issued by an Australian Bank.

Do you have anymore information on how BPAY and Xero works?

Can I use my Credit Card to pay all my bills to earn points?

For BPAY billers, yes. In 95% of cases, we can accept Cards (1.45% for use of Visa and masterCard).  

For Non-BPAY / Vendor payments - this will be dependent on if your vendor accepts credit cards. If they do,  let us know during the consultation and we will on-board their merchant facility so you can continue to pay them via Credit Cards using our wallet.  

But remember,  all you need to do is simply put in your Cards and Bank Accounts into a priority order and our wallet will do the auto matching of payment methods between you and your vendors.  

Can you also manage invoices (i.e. receivables)?

Yes. Our software looks after both your bills & invoices, so it's the one place for your accounts & finance team.  

We usually start with bills and then move across to invoices, but every business is different.
